Sky AND Ocean is conceptually strong and novel. The sub categories of gradients and density seem to have strong visual and conceptual link with the above classification. With only one mark per page consider a small and square format. Is the contact sheet the index or glossary? Subtle color seems like an option too, considering your classification.
