Poster Making Process

We determined scale and and color through a black and white tiled version of our poster, just to be sure our final print would look just right.

There were quite a few experiments that had to take place to make sure that the oil stains communicated accurately and were aesthetically pleasing. We attempted a couple materials such as motor oil and canola oil, even thought going to Matthew's car and pulling oil straight from his car, but the ultimate form of "oil" that we used was syrup. Yep, as in pancakes.

After much brainstorming and much going back and forth, my fellow group members and myself have decided on a concept. The chosen concept is about the forced global adaptations we face because of our irresponsible actions. We would like for our artifacts to inspire user interaction so that they become perhaps more thoughtful about their actions.
